Lakeview Apartments

Lakeview Apartments was envisioned as family oriented, workforce housing. Designed in a contemporary farmhouse style with affordable rents in north Eugene, this project increases urban density with Eugene’s Urban Growth Boundary.

The design team worked to treat all stormwater on site, orienting the building close to the street edge and tucking stormwater treatment at the back edge of the property. Stormwater infiltration occurs underneath the parking lot to maximize the site.

So often in apartments there is a scant amount of storage for seasonal items. Dustrud Architecture integrated storage underneath stairs, tucked near bathrooms, and in exterior closets. This gives units with smaller square footage larger livability.
