The Nest

Located across from the new Oregon State University Cascades Campus, Central Oregon Community College, the Deschutes River, various hiking trails and a short drive from the ski slopes of Mount Bachelor, The Nest was designed for an active community. Completed in the Fall of 2020, this 67-unit apartment building features a community room with a fireplace and breakfast bar, a fitness center, and an outdoor terrace with a fire pit and a BBQ. A large bike room with a bicycle maintenance station is provided at the ground level and ski/snowboard lockers and a tuning bench with standard tools, as well as lounge and study areas, are located on the first floor.

The lobby includes automated parcel lockers in addition to standard mailboxes and the building has controlled access entry for security. In consideration of the hot summers and cold, snowy winters typical of the area, standalone carport structures provide covered parking for residents and all units have air conditioning. The building is well-insulated, utilizes durable materials, and features clean lines with a modern appeal.
